I Disappear è un singolo dei Metallica. Fa parte della colonna sonora del film Mission: Impossible II (2000). Pubblicata come singolo nel 2000, la canzone richiama quelle del gruppo uscite negli anni novanta. Il video della canzone, diretto da Wayne Isham, mostra i Metallica su un altopiano mentre suonano. Inoltre incorpora spezzoni dal film Mission: Impossible 2, con Tom Cruise, alternandoli a pezzi in cui i musicisti si trovano a dover affrontare le loro paure... in puro stile Mission Impossible. Le frasi spezzate la rendono di difficile comprensione, ma danno un senso di sparizione imminente, di morte che può arrivare da un momento all'altro. Alcuni dicono sia un messaggio all'ex bassista Jason Newsted, che di lì a poco avrebbe lasciato la band.
