Foro Sol, Mexico City, MX- Per la seconda delle tre serate previste nella megalopoli messicana, i Metallica ritornano al passato e aprono con 'Creeping Death', l'opener classica che da anni introduce la band sul palco: è solo la seconda volta che il pezzo, datato 1984, apre una data del tour di Death Magnetic, generalmente introdotto dalle prime due canzoni del nuovo full length del combo di Frisco. Tantissimi i pezzi della vecchia scuola: 'For Whom The Bell Tolls', 'Disposable Heroes', 'One', 'No Remorse' e 'Fight Fire With Fire'.

June 14, 2009. Hartwall Arena, Helsinki, FIN- I Metallica salgono nella fresca Finlandia, dove sono già stati on the road per ben 13 volte (9 nella capitale Helsinki). La prima data finnica risale al gelido 14 dicembre 1984, in quel di Travashovi. All'epoca tennero tre show urticanti, e in quello del 16 dicembre venne suonata per la prima e ultima volta in Finlandia 'No Remorse', che guardacaso è il pezzo più esplosivo di questa serata di metà giugno. Assieme a FFWF, naturalmente: sulle micce incendiarie del caro vecchio thrash, sulle hit del Black Album e su pezzi intramontabili come 'For Whom The Bell Tolls', 'Master Of Puppets' e 'One', i Quattro Cavalieri fanno tuonare la loro leggenda anche sotto il circolo polare artico.

June 4, 2009. Foro Sol, Mexico City, MX- Il tour europeo dei Metallica si interrompe e lascia spazio ad alcune apparizioni in Messico, nella gigantesca capitale del Paese centroamericano. E' la settantesima volta che la città messicana ospita la band, anche se l'ultima data qui risale ormai al lontano 1999. Del 1993 la prima di una serie di esibizioni, dalle quali sono anche stati estratti dei pezzi finiti poi sul 'Live Shit'. La scaletta è quasi tutta improntata su 'Death Magnetic' e sul 'Black Album', visto che da quest'ultimo vengono estratti ben 4 pezzi. Immancabili e terremotanti i classicissimi: 'Master', 'Seek', 'Creeping', 'One'. Ci pensa 'Blackened' a movimentare il pogo messicano, mentre a sorpresa viene suonata 'Trapped Under Ice', pezzo del 1984 che prima d'ora era stata sfoderata live solo 7 volte.
